I hear you asking where can I get my hands on a pair of these funky ‘Fit Flops?’ Well the answers simple; Net a porter of course! Cobalt In Camilla & Marc

July 19th, 2008 by Amanda

camilla-purple.jpgAs I mentioned previously I was ecstatic to find a new brand to get excited about and that brand was Camilla and Marc. Well much to my delight I have found another dress and this time it’s in my favourite strapless style.

The strapless dress in question is similar to the summer season’s dresses but has been revamped with a cobalt winter colour and a punky edge. The silk dupion mini dress has an organza bubble skirt, a fitted bust and is available at Net A Porter exclusively. Match with some black tights as pictured here or perhaps try some fishnets or leggings, either way it provides a super chic winter look.

Get your Camilla and Marc Charlotte mini dress at Net A Porter now costing £390.

Check Please

July 19th, 2008 by Amanda

miu-miu.jpgAs much as I love top stick with my favourite pair of skinny jeans for the autumn/winter months I can’t help but feel the attraction to these Miu Miu Checked cropped pants.

The Scottish inspired tartan check is back for fall and these will fly off the shelves. The multicolored pants are so funky and with the right top and shoes/ankle boot, they could make an outfit on there own. The stretch wool checked pants are slim leg, similar to skinny jeans so why not treat them as your new pair but stay safe with colours like black unless your very daring.

Get yourself a pair from Net A Porter now costing £240.

Equestrian-Chic From Bottega Veneta

July 19th, 2008 by Amanda

bottega.jpgI’ve always been a huge fan of Bottega Veneta designs and I continue to be delighted by these new Bottega Veneta Glossy leather boots.

Perfect for the cold winter months the knee high Bottega boots provide sophisticated style, comfort and warmth. The boots simply pull on so are ideal to match with a pair of your favourite skinny jeans/leggings and sweater combo.

At £520 they are quite pricey but when you work out how much you would wear them compared to how much you pay it seems well worth it. Get yours from Net A Porter now.

Camilla & Marc

July 19th, 2008 by Amanda

camilla-piper.jpgExciting times come around again for me this winter as I have cast my eye over another brand to get obsessed with. The designers behind the brand are brother and sister duo Camilla and Marc Freeman. The Sidney based designers launched their line in 2003 and have been picked up by Net A Porter, so look forward to alot more of thier designs on this blog page in the future.

One dress at the top of my list is the Piper Mini Dress. Its cute and cream made in chiffon and has a one shoulder strap with large floral corsage detailing spread across the strap and bust adding a complete femimine touch.

Available at Net A Porter invest in your Camilla and Marc Piper Mini Dress costing £410.

A Work Of Art

July 19th, 2008 by Amanda

oscar.jpgOscar de la Renta creates the most luxuriously beautiful dresses every season and to add to the long line of hits that I have wrote about before e.g. the bubble hem, this new creation lands on my web page.

A Oscar de la Renta Saffron floral dress in 50’s style complete with a pleated full skirt and high neck. Florals are set to stay in season and this mixture of colour has autumn and winter all over it rather than the summery light colours we got so use to seeing last season. Match with some black or red courts for the finishing touch.

A true work of art for your wardbrobe this fall, the Oscar de la Renta dress is avaiable at Net A Porter now, priced at £2,540.

Parachute Dress!

July 7th, 2008 by Carly

Parachute Dress by All SaintsThis has to be one of the most exciting new autumn/winter pieces I have seen from the highstreet so far! There are no prizes for guessing the creator as it is not brain science to realise that only All Saints has the guts and the talent to bring such a unique piece to the highstreet.

It has been named the parachute dress for obvious reasons; it was clearly inspired by a parachute due to the vast amount of fabric used and the freeness of the shape. Who’d of thought a parachute could look so great on, certainly not me! It’s another unusual but fantastic idea from All saints. Visit their website today and pre order the dress to avoid disappointment as it is sure to be a sell out! This dress costs £325, however there is a shorter version that is slightly cheaper! Happy shopping!
